Insieme is an inclusive, modular bench system designed to accommodate various seating preferences and requirements. A simple locking mechanism allows for parts to be attached and removed with ease. The design aims to invite more opportunities to gather and be together in one place by giving customers the ability to upgrade and adapt their seating arrangements over time.
The beech and aluminium components can be repaired, replaced, exchanged or recycled, forming a circular model. By exploring modularity, manufacturers can sustain relationships with their customers over many years by providing the tools and resources to reconfigure living spaces and public environments.

These models replicate a 1:1 scale cross-section of the bench and aluminium joining mechanism. The attachments have been designed to effortlessly lock in place with a gentle twist.
The extruded aluminium attachments are connected with a pin and slot into a die-cast aluminium insert to protect the bench and increase the longevity of the wood components.
